Pueblo Active Community Environments (P.A.C.E.)

October 5th Scavenger Hunt

Discover Colorado's largest recognized Art District , the Pueblo Creative Corridor, at the grand opening on Friday, October 5th with a fun Scavenger Hunt!  Lots of events, artists, performers and "human ribbon" processions are scheduled!

The Discover Pueblo Scavenger Hunt is a free, fun way to encourage you to explore Pueblo’s three art districts using multiple forms of transportation other than a car, to discover Pueblo’s art galleries and unique downtown area and just have fun interacting with others along the way.

  • Form a team with 1-2 other people and bring a digital camera or camera phone
  • Pick up a free Scavenger Hunt list anytime between 3 pm and 7 pm from Riverwalk boat ($1 boat rides!), Bingo Burger, Solar Roast, Hopscotch Bakery, Union Toy Stop, Riverwalk Refreshment Center, bike shop on Abiendo, or newsie or volunteer near Rawlings Library, Arts Center, El Pueblo Museum.
  • Explore the 1.1 mile corridor along the 4 mile loop taking digital pictures of any items you find on the list. Check off those you capture for easier verification with another team later at Bingo Burger.  This isn't a race, please feel free to enjoy your time in the corridor!  Map of corridor and events!
  • Drop into Bingo Burger anytime between 5 to 8 pm to verify photos with another team and tally points.  Cut off slip with team names, phone and points verified and give to volunteer for prize drawing at 8 pm.  Keep the Scavenger Hunt list to come back again and again to find things in the Pueblo Creative Corridor!

JOIN THE HUMAN PROCESSIONS and collect photos along the way!

  • 4:00-4:45 pm: Human Ribbon Procession walk from Rawlings Library down Union to Main St. to Arts Center. May capture photos on the list as you go!  Wear PURPLE shirts!
  • 6:30-7 pm:  Reverse Human and Wheeled Procession (cyclists, skateboarders, runners, Downtown Shufflers) leave 3rd & Santa Fe, west on 3rd to Grand to Union and up the hill to Mesa Junction.  May opt for level ground  of Union Dept to Victoria.  Wear PURPLE shirts!

Email great Scavenger Hunt photos to share to events@pueblopag.org.

Please be responsible and careful along the way watching for traffic, other bikes or pedestrians so everyone stays safe and has a good time. Small prizes will be raffled off to teams earning 80 points or more. This is not a race so take your time crossing streets, enjoy the sites, appreciate the art by not climbing on artwork and be careful of others around you. By participating in this free, fun challenge, you are responsible for your own safety and assume all risks.

Tag "Pueblo Creative Corridor" in photos online during the Scavenger Hunt to get more people to come out and join the fun!
