Schedule of 2011 Rides with Walk-n-Roll Campaign:

July to September 2011:  2nd and 4th Fridays of each month at 7 pm

  • Start and end at Bingo Burger on 1st and Court in downtown Pueblo. Enjoy food, drinks and music on the patio before and after the casual ride.

May and June 2011:  Cruiser rides during Bike Month are Thursdays at 6 pm May 19 to June 24:

  •  Rides will start in our parks on trails, advance to bike lanes in our parks and end on Downtown City streets to meet a variety of comfort levels and highlight areas to ride in our community.

May 19:  Costume theme is Cowboy/Western.  Ride the new 2.25 mile Lake Minnequa trail.  Meet on south side of lake.  There is parking near the basketball slab, picnic shelter. You may also park at Felice's Pizza on Pueblo Blvd as they are offering discounts to us to drop in after the ride! 

  • Injury Prevention at St Mary Corwin will be available to fit and give away helmets to kids riding starting at 5:40 pm.

May 26: Costume theme is Pirates- AARGH!  Ride the river trail from the Riverwalk area to Runyon Lake and back.  Meet at the Riverwalk near the AT&T building/parking garage.

  • Pueblo Kiwanis will be available to fit and give away helmets to kids riding starting at 5:40 pm while supplies last.

June 2:  Costume theme is LIVESTRONG so wear YELLOW!  Ride around Mineral Palace Park bike lane loop.  If you drive, please try to park in one of the parking lots for the park at Santa Fe entrance, by pool or playground lot near I-25.  The fewer cars in the park the better!

  • Pueblo Kiwanis will be available to fit and give away helmets to kids riding starting at 5:45 pm while supplies last.

June 9:  Costume theme is Super Heroes!  Ride around City Park bike lanes and learn how to reach the Arkansas River trail.  If you drive, please try to park in the lot by the pool or the zoo.  The fewer cars in the park the better!

  • Pueblo Kiwanis will be available to fit and give away helmets to kids riding starting at 5:40 pm while supplies last.

June 16:  Costume theme is 50's Greaser/Sock Hop.  Riding city streets in the Historic Union District.  Meet at the gazebo by Lake Elizabeth near Elizabeth/Victoria intersection.

June 23:  Costume theme is anything you want!  Riding city streets downtown AFTER the Bike Commuter Cup award ceremony.  Meet at the gazebo by Lake Elizabeth.
