Historical Tours

Pueblo has some amazing historical architecture to explore and discover.  Take a walk on the South side and the North side with a local preservation historian and planner dedicated to helping make Pueblo more walkable, bikeable and sustainable.  The East side covers more ground so that tour will be about 3 miles on a bike.

South Side includes Mesa Junction and the Blocks Walking Tour

Friday, May 20th 2011 - 5:45 pm - Walking Tour meets at the Tea Tree shop at 101 Broadway off Abriendo

Saturday, May 21st 2011 - 11:30 am  Historical presentation at the Rawlings Library InfoZone, 3rd floor          

                                           1:00 pm  Same Walking Tour from the night before

North Side Walking Tour in area surrounding Parkview Medical Center and Mineral Palace Park

Wednesday, May 25th 2011 - Noon or 5 pm - Walking Tour meets on Grand between 16th and 17th at the Perkview Cafe at Parkview Hospital across from the parking garage. 

East Side Bike Tour

Saturday, June 25th 2011 - 10 am - Meet at the El Centro del Quinto Sol Center for a 3-mile tour of some interesting architectural sites.
