Pueblo Active Community Environments (P.A.C.E.)

2015 Commuter Cup and Bike Challenge

Join others in the free National Bike Challenge that runs May 1st through September and demonstrate Pueblo is healthy, active and We Ride!

  • Track your miles in the challenge to show how much Pueblo rides!  This is hard data to capture and helps us get grants for more improvements!
  • The data from May and June are used for our local  Pueblo Commuter Cup Challenge  - a  fun, friendly worksite challenge between local employers to encourage more cycling for fun, fitness and transportation!
    • Leave the car at home more and try to get around by bike! Lots of improvements have come and are yet to come this Spring to make Pueblo more bicycle friendly.
  • You may register for the National Bike Challenge (official 2015 challenge website not available yet). By entering a Pueblo County zip code, you are included in our local Community Challenge, listing your employer adds you to their challenge and you can even add a social team to have fun challenging your friends, neighbors or family to ride more!
  • May and June Awards for National Bike Challenge and local Commuter Cup Challenge will be presented at 6:00 pm Thursday, July 2nd prior to the Cruisin' Pueblo ride at Bingo Burger.
  • July, August, September for National Bike Challenge - keep riding and logging your data all summer long!  This is difficult data to capture and you help provide us valuable data to prove cycling improvements are needed and valued here.
  • Awards for July through September will be given each month on the first Thursday of the following month at the Cruisin' Pueblo ride at 6:00 pm for top participants!
