Pueblo Active Community Environments (P.A.C.E.)

2012 Bike to Work Events

New in 2012 - teaming up with the county-wide Pueblo Health Challenge to track commute data as well as recreational and fitness miles walking, biking or running!  This will allow collection of useful data all year for grants and funding future bike lanes and trail connections and participants the opportunity to win monthly prizes and continue fun social challenges!

Pueblo Commuter Cup Challenge - entire months of May and June 2012 back by popular demand but a bit different this year! The fun, friendly worksite challenge between local employers will take place during National and Colorado Bike months. This encourages employees to leave the car at home more and try to make bike/walk commuting a habit. In 2011, 147 participants avoided 1,603 car trips and rode/walked 15,677 miles to and from work! Start promoting the challenge and bike to work days at your work site and collecting team members to become the healthiest and greenest business in town!
